Scatter — Write it down. Let it scatter.
Scatter collects nothing. No data leaves your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your thoughts are never stored, transmitted, or recoverable — by anyone, including us.
None. Scatter is designed to discard, not to store. When you write a thought and release it, the text is erased from memory immediately. It is not saved to your device, not sent to any server, and not backed up anywhere.
Scatter stores only two preferences locally on your device:
These are stored using your device's standard preferences storage. They never leave your device and contain no personal information.
Scatter contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We do not know how many times you open the app, what you write, or anything else about your usage.
Scatter does not connect to the internet during normal use. The only network requests are made by the Google Fonts library to download the app's typeface on first launch. No personal data is transmitted in this request.
Scatter does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers.
Scatter does not collect any data from anyone, including children. There are no age restrictions on using the app.
If this policy is ever updated, changes will be posted on this page. Given that Scatter collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
